THANKS FRANK formed out of the suburbs of Frankfurt Germany in 2004, where the band surged onto the local club scene playing their unique blend of indie rock. In 2006, the band released its debut CD “How long have we got” which featured 12 original songs recorded at Orangebox Studios in Frankfurt, capturing the sound and energy of the band playing live.

In mid 2007, the band underwent a major lineup change with the addition of Patricia Kronauer (lead vocalist) and Ian Duncan (Bassist), joining founding members Robin MacDonald (Guitar, vocals),and Frank Sicker (Drums). The new composition sparked a stream of creativity, with the band writing a score of new songs and embarking on a new musical direction, inspiring some of their most creative material to date.

In 2009 they released PLANS containing 7 new tracks which was reflective of the bands' growing optimism as a group looking towards bigger and better things.

In July 2010 THANKS FRANK recorded a new EP called BOMBERS MOON. The 4 new tracks are diverse in musical styles touching on rock, pop and alternative.
