Perse. Rotten roots of positive abnormal behavior. the band was formed in Livorno and consisted of Simone Pacini (guitar and vocals), Daniele Carboncini (bass guitar), Stefano Ciolli (drums). The project started in 2008 and took its final shape in March 2009, when we finally recognized ourselves as a seamless small group of individuals who can’t be prevented from causing ear damage to other living creatures. Our common root has grown into the rich and infectious soil of alternative rock music, our seeds well planted in the fertile 90’s earth and from there kept randomly growing in several different directions until this very day. Stefano and Simone played together in the 90’s for quite a few years in a band named “ Splatter Surfers “ with some other good friends now fully involved in other projects and doing very well. It’s the 1996 when Simone and Stefano start a band “ Different Season “ along with Matteo Z playing bass guitar at that time, we played for two years prior to splitting up and move on with our ordinary lives. Daniele has been playing bass guitar since the 90’s, he played for several different years in a band named “ Golem “, penetrating dark rock sound pretty active at the time in the area of Pisa and Livorno. Stefano and Simone met in 1990, during what we consider it to be the richest alternative musical brainstorming of our times. Their friendship was founded on solid concrete grounds, literally speaking, went through a lot of changes together, shared affections, had their doubts, but still bonding in the end. Daniele and Stefano met in 1986 thanks to their common passions (skateboarding, music, and boardgames) and from there it grew strongly, at times intermittently, until this very day. I, Stefano, as the narrator of this little fortunate incredible accident, am thankful for every single day we spend together, it is of incredible importance to me, every time I experience an intense communion of minds.
