    Coalitions' sound is an eclectic mixture of funk, jazz, rock, hip-hop, latin, and fusion elements. Every musician in the group plays at a high musical level and shows extreme musicianship. Take the funky riffs of Herbie Hancock, the experimental sounds of Jeff Beck, the power & ferocity of John Bonham, the power funk bass of Stanley Clarke, and layer this with haunting electric cello melodies & improv...and you have Coalition. The entire set of music we will play at the festival will be ideas, riffs, & sections created during spontaneous jam sessions we've performed during the last year. Our music is a crossover of many genres, yet we stay away from any commercialized ideas. We can guarantee that we will be the most unique band in the competition.
