Primal Point's unique, world influenced sound consisting of intricate rhythmic variations, improvisation and "soul"fully inspired melodies with a strong, positive message began with the writing and arranging of singer/guitarist, Andy Sperandeo and has transformed into a very powerful trio exploring the boundaries of musical expression.

With the addition of such accomplished and well studied musicians as Daniel Kouba on drums/percussion and Peter Champagne on bass, the individual has given way to this truly collaborative experience. Each brings many years of experience and a mastery over a wide variety of musical styles to this group. You can hear the influence in the haunting, altered tunings, the multi odd-time signatures and through the experimentation of tonality from time to time. Yet there is still this strong pull towards natural simplicity through hard hitting groove tunes and thoughtful melodies.
