    Rising from the ashes of a now defunk'd band, 1101 intends to take Northern Virginia and the DC Metro area by storm. This four-piece band derives its evil jamming power from a combination of excellent songwriting and solid musicianship. The songs composed by tunesmiths Alex Rossino and Dave Besbris are driven by the rhythmic throb of John Dunning on bass and Yanni Chryssomitis on drums. Rossino fills out the sound with deft rhythm guitar playing, while Besbris scales new sonic heights of improvisation on lead guitar.
