    Tout démarre avec Bellevue en octobre 1998. Groupe né des cendres de Giovanni et dans lequel on retrouve Eric, Florent et Cédric. Après 7 ans de pop française à l'anglaise Bellevue décide de revenir à une musique plus directe et d'écarter les entraves mélodiques et rythmiques liées à la langue française. Les premières compositions de The Lyrics font surface en janvier 2006. Aujourd'hui le groupe travaille sur l'enregistrement d'une démo et prépare ses prochains concerts...

    It all started in october 1998 with the birth of a french indie band named Bellevue. Myriads of distorted guitars along with an overdriven bass, a restless drum and french lyrics sung in a shoegazing style by flo's timid and tiny voice. After seven years of unfinished business Bellevue's menbers have decided to rethink their work and ended up admiting english lyrics would make things easier .The first The Lyrics' songs appeared in january 2006. The band is now working on the recording of a demo and rehearsing for their next gigs.
