Koncertanmeldelser af koncerter på anden finaledag i Pumpehuset

Vi fik besøg af en tysk koncertanmelder hvilket er grunden til at anmeldelserne er på engelsk

    Marco Wulff
The songs of Marco Wulff are a nice combination of up-tempo beats and riffs on the guitar that remind you of Santana - something you do not hear every day. The 3 boys put on a great show and knew how to excite their audience. Their outgoing and melodious rap has a very unique sound to it and they created some seriously catchy tracks that got stuck in your head.

    Jersie
Jersie play sublime, ambient electronic Pop / Rock. The band consists of 4 young lads and a female lead singer who – besides also being able to play guitar – hits the audience with her unique rocky voice. The unexpected acoustic surprise in the middle of the concert was definitely an element that created a moving and dynamic atmosphere that fascinated the crowd. Jersie’s music reminds you of a female version of Dúné. Something you do not want to miss out on!

    AvAciA (FI)
Metal seems to be something that Finnish people have running through their veins – they are simply great at it. AvAciA put on a sublime show that knocked your socks off: heavy riffs, melodic choruses, powerful vocals – both screaming and clean – fused together and created a massive live sound that made people bang their heads. The three guys are amazing performers and really showed their audience how Metal is done. Hats off!

    Aloe Drengene
The 9 boys from Aloe Drengene play young, wild and contemporary Hip Hop. The big group is really good at including the crowd and creating a huge party – both on and off the stage. Their lyrics are about wild parties, drinking and young love. Accompanied by their heavy beats the group makes you think of the great Danish artists who have recently been taking the Danish scenes all around the country.

    Public Playground
Public Playground are a dynamic and offbeat Indie Pop band. Their music appeals especially to the women in the crowd and hits you right in the heart. Despite their young age, they have a very well-developed interplay. The ambient tones of the violin and the songs’ soothing melodic vibe creates a dreamy universe. We should definitely be looking forward to hearing more about these 4 young guys.

    Cozy Panic (SE)
Cozy Panic is a highly energetic Rap trio from Sweden. With an extrovert expression, flamboyant stage outfits and the ability to create a huge party among the crowd in no time, they conquered the stage at Pumpehuset in a way that is hard to forget. They seemed very serious and passionate about their music and the Swedish lyrics created a very authentic universe. Thank you for a good show!

    NOBL x SAXO
The Hip Hop / Rap crew NOBL x SAXO consist of 5 young boys who brought a late-night summer vibe to the stage at Pumpehuset. Their music is a mix of heavy beats, very relatable lyrics about love, everyday life and parties underlined by a positive mood. Their sound is very contemporary so that you could easily imagine their music being played on the big Danish radio channels.

    Taking Flight
Taking Flight is a driven old school Hard Rock band with a strong female lead. With their catchy tunes they create an honest, melodic sound that is complemented by the powerful, rocky voice of the singer that really gets under your skin. They put on a great performance, animating their audience to have some fun with the inflatable balls they brought along. Taking Flight is a live band through and through that knows how to fascinate their audience with their limitless energy.

    Arata (NO)
Arata is a very talented, highly-skilled experimental Hard Rock duo from Norway consisting of no more than drums and a bass. With their nuanced instrumental beats and riffs, they enchanted their audience at Pumpehuset. The Bass player was able to fill the stage with his vibrant performance all by himself. The drummer’s consistent beats and the bassist’s distinctive technical abilities created a sound that made it hard to not move your body to. Parts of the show were performed with a guest vocalist and just when you thought this performance could not get any better, Arata proved you wrong. The powerful, emotive voice of the singer complemented the already high-quality sound of the band even further and left the audience speechless. Thank you for this brilliant, unforgettable performance, guys!

    It’s Under Construction
It’s Under Construction is an Alternative Rock band consisting of three guys and a female vocalist. The soothing and catchy voice of the singer complements the calm and jazzy, sometimes rocky, vibe the rest of the band creates. Their rather introvert performance gives the band a slightly mysterious and interesting touch that makes you want to hear more. You could easily imagine this band at one of this summer’s festivals with their light and warm sound.

    Cryosphere
The melodic Metalcore band Cryosphere from Roskilde consists of 6 young people that create an energetic, unique sound by blending together influences from different Metal genres. The voices of the two lead singers – both, male and female – complement each other nicely by combining powerful hardcore screams with clean emotional singing passages. Cryosphere delivered a great live performance showing off their endless energy that got their audience seriously fired up.

    Jaya Merichau
Jaya Merichau plays electronic Rap that really set the scene at Pumpehuset. The bold female solo artist with her luminous outfit fills out the stage and lights up the crowd with her glowing and energetic rap skills. Her self-confidence affects the audience and creates a fantastic and festive mood. It was magical to stand amongst the crowd and listen to the audience yell her name at the top of their lungs after her show. I think we can expect great thing from Jaya.

    Stabillo-G’s
This cheeky young Rap crew consisting of 6 boys who – with their own unique style and shades – create a crazy, funny and perfectly balanced party on stage. Their beats are offbeat but very easy to dance to. Their sound reminds you of the Rap groups from the western parts of the U.S. It is hard not let yourself get carried away with Stabillo-G’s tracks, when they turn up the heat at Pumpehuset and start a party together with the crowd.

    Velvet Sound
The 4 guys from Velvet Sound create a freaky and fantastic atmosphere with their old school Rock for the road. Wearing nothing but kimonos they could easily be a band taken out of the 70s or 80s. From the beginning till the end they include the audience that is singing along to their catchy songs. It is truly a live-band you definitely want to hear more than once. With a drink in your hand and a group of your good friends you cannot help having a great party at their show. Enjoy!

    Flame
Flame creates a late-night trance atmosphere that is very suitable for ending a great night. With their rather introvert performance, they generated a festive mood putting the focus on their audience instead of themselves. The trance duo seems very inspired by the sounds of the underground scene in Berlin. Their music can put even the dullest crowd into a party mood in the late evening hours. Definitely the right act for long summer nights at the beach.
