Dalston is indie music's best new hang out area. All unsigned indie bands make this a great pub to do their music networking. The VIC in Dalston has only been open for a couple of years and is an uber cool place where down to earth rock and roll stars of the future play pool, watch bands and drink cheap booze. This is what the NME, the “credible voice” as far as music is concerned said: “The Vic is super cool and probably one of the best new venues in London”. Testament that if the bible of indie music says so then it must be cool. The Emergenza music competition is proud to put on shows there for up coming bands.
