Hard Drive, the band is a union of very talented and powerful instrumentalists who together play and create music to liberate your mind. The New York based band, is one of soul and funk. They drive intense grooves as sweet as honey, we do original and cover tunes and create a sound stage that is as hot as fire. Consisting of 8 members, each individual musician adds something unique to create an awesome entourage.

OJay is the bass man who provides the funky bottom. A certified soundman, he specializes in providing quality sound to every groove. Behind each groove, he holds the truth and makes each and every tune played, one you can feel. I am still trying to figure out where he gets all that funk from. On keys, we have the very talented, James who holds the keys down. His quality deliverance is one of classical influence. His style is so melodic, I prefer to call him Twinkle Fingers. We also have another brother on the keys by the name of JD who tickles the ivories and emphasizes the soulful harmony that Hard Drive carries. Ismail, the drummer, strikes up the sound and keeps the melody flowing hard and tight. He sets the pace and adds artistic flavor to each and every melody. Phil is one of New Yorks strongest and most educated guitarists. His flavor can be compared to that of the legendary Jimi Hendrix. He can rock any style of musical genre and bring a sense of comfort to the ears no matter what it is he strums. The 5 instrumentalists do their thing and work hard together to provide some serious funkified grooves. Each with their own unique style and instrumental mannerisms, they combine and bring a great positive sound to the forge.

To add to the great instrumentation are 3 of the most soulful and sexy singers that New York have to offer. All with great vocal range, harmony, ability, technique, and strong musical background. Stephanie, Sophia and Lex add the right touch to Hard Drive. Together, they create a strong and powerful front to rock the house. They front the band and bring a good, entertaining show to the table.

Hard Drive is not just a band. Theyre a drive a groove with funky rhythms and technique that is so hot, they make you want to bop your head to the sound and clap your hands to the flow of the Hard Drive experience, band. Hard Drive is definitely a band worth seeing live.
