    TOP STORIES
A lot has happened since 2004... It started with Nathan Van der Rest and Preston Rodie meeting and beginning to play together back in 2002. Finally they decided in 2004 that they should start a serious band. They joined forces with rhythm guitarist Sam Lowey and his younger brother, Anthony, playing drums. Whiskey Bishop began taking off with only instrumentals, gaining attention from a few local high schools around the Scottsdale valley. A little over had year passed when they realized they were not gaining much ground due to the lack of a singer. Tension formed and soon Preston was no longer a member of the band. With an Emergenza date already scheduled, Whiskey Bishop brought Zatch Moore in to take over bass. Sam stepped up to the microphone to become the band’s singer. Whiskey Bishop placed 3rd in the first round of Emergenza 2006. Within a few months (before the next round of Emergenza) the band disintegrated. Shortly after this, Nathan and Preston began reassembling Whiskey Bishop. Logan Kimmel joined the band in late 2006. The band is currently completing reassembling and is looking for a singer. Whiskey Bishop is expected to be completely rebuilt and better than ever by Emergenza 2007.
