    TOP STORIES
From the Mountains of Pennsylvania came the Godinez Brothers Band...."We ain't pretty, we just came to get down"... Is a montra heard in and around the musical community when it comes to how the band thinks... and may give you a little insite as to where their heads are at on stage. "If the crowd isn't bouncin' they must not have the mics on" says Rodney Godinez (singer). "We like to see the people getting into it, you know, lika lika sex machine!? Movin doin it, YOU KNOW."
There style is unnamed as far as i can tell. Funk, R&B, Afro-Pop, Hip-Hop.... How would you describe it?

    To Listen For Yourself
"We write music that appeals to those who like smooth melodies and timeless hooks, as well as some good ol'e fashioned git down"
Jon and Rodney have been playing music since they we're small children.
"Our mother was big on music when we we're growing up, not a soccer mom neccessarily but a staunch advocate. She bought a used (gutted) player piano for $50 when I was 9 and there was always music playing." Jon says
There influences include James Brown, George Clinton and P-Funk, Any and All Motown, Stevie Wonder, Sly and The Family Stone and the Funky Meters as well as old school rock and rap.
"I was the kid who had Iron Maiden, Adam Ant, Run D.M.C., Led Zepplin, The Beastie Boys, The Doors, Slick Rick, and Cool Moe Dee, .. Bumpin at all hours" Rodney recalls. "But then, one day I heard Stevie Wonder and Bob Marley, I believe it was both on the same day and the table was set?"
