    Formed in 2002 by Dave Diaz and Carlos Vega. With their double lead harmony guitar riffs and multi layered vocals, Downfire channels metal bands of old like Judas Priest @ Iron Maiden with the raw energy of New Metal bands the likes of Black Label Society @ System of a Down. Downfire has been playing throughout the State of NY for the last 3 years making a name for themselves, along the way they've opened for Testament, W.A.S.P, Metal Church, Overkill and Zebra.
