A WORLD IN THE CENTER OF GERMANY
The countdown to the big International Final is starting now: 3 days plenty of music from the morning till the night, 26 Emergenza’s bands from all around the world meeting for one of the most important experience for their musical future, an irreplaceable tool to allow new generations of musicians to gain experience, spaces and professional competencies.
ONE WORLD - ONE NATION - ONE MUSIC is not only a slogan: it’s mainly sort of international “cultural brothership” among live music and young musicians. More than 3.000 bands participated in the Emergenza Festival this year and the TAUBERTAL OPEN AIR FESTIVAL is the big occasion for the 26 winners from the Regional Final to meet each other and create a common world and a common way of thinking.
Young English, Canadians, Germans, Italians, Sweden, Danish, Swiss, Austrians, French, Spanish, etc. play live and have fun together for 3 days in one of the most beautiful place in the center of Germany and during one of the major European Rock appointment in Europe.
The Cure, Ash, Travis, Sisters of Mercy, Therapy?, Guano Apes, New Model Army: just to name few headliners who performed live at the Taubertal Open Air Festival.
Again we are proud to be in Rothenburg, the historical and beautiful village where the Taubertal Open Air Festival takes place: a valley in the center of Germany where an entire Music Village is built to welcome hundreds of musicians and thousands of audiences.
Two big stages, one in front of the other, one just for the Emergenza bands who play alternatively with the headliners who perform on the other one. And the public between the two stages for 3 days of no-stop music!
And it’s not just another gig for the bands: it’s an important opportunity for all of them to show himself to persons who work in the music industries and scouters of labels and to win more than 30.000 euros of instruments.
An International jury will come from all around the world: in porpoise from USA Miss Jane with Universal Orlando, Aaron Dey with Visual Planet Music, Patrick Schuleit as representative of St. Louis Music, the artists Dave La Rue and Dj Ashba. From Spain Joan Sancho Luna and David Morell Torrijo (with the most famous music Spanish review Mondo Sonoro), from Italy a representative of Audioglobe (one of the biggest music distributor) and the music critic Roberto Iacopini, from Germany Susanna Ott with “Oh My Sweet Entertainment”, Jurgen Klier the Creative Art Director for Music, and many others.
This jury will attend all performances of the Emergenza bands to appreciate, to listen to the young musicians and to choose who are the best talents who deserve the prizes.
And the last, incredible thing that makes the band’s dreams come true: going to USA to perform at the Vans Warped Tour with the most famous American bands, the historical meeting-point where bands like Metallica, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Green Days, Guns ’n’ Roses, and many other have performed.
In August all the Emergenza bands will have the chance to take part at the special clinics of
- DAVE LA RUE, the pluri-nominated bassist of the Steve Morse Band who recorded or performed with the London Symphony Orchestra, Deep Purple, Bruce Hornsby, Mike Portnoy, the Hellecasters, Pat Travers, Tommy Lee and Vince Neil (Motley Crue), guitarists John Petrucci, Steve Lukather, Joe Satriani, Mike Stern, Andy Timmons (Danger Danger), Steve Vai, Albert Lee, Vinnie Moore, Rik Emmett (Triumph), and Ace Frehley (Kiss);
- DJ ASHBA guitarist and co-founder of Beautiful Creatures. He has been recognized as one of the best young guitarist and he’s recording his first solo album.
Is there anything else to say? I would just add: let’s party!
