about marla started in winter 1999-2000 with another name (mind the dog). We started making songs under the influence of various bands we liked and that were basically melodic hardcore type. After a year and a half, after recording a demo, we sort of found out which was our real sound and what was the way we had to follow. Therefore, the change of style and the evolution we sufered made us change the name to "about marla". We now make songs that really are addapted to the way each one in the band plays his instrument.
When you watch about marla live, you'll be experiencied diferent atmospheres: calm, angry, happy, sad... it is a trip to what we like to call The Pentagonal Planet.
