    The Tights are one of the hottest original bands coming out of Philadelphia right now. Their volcanic pop-alt-chick rock erupted from Philly's favorite garage girl threesome Mae Pang, along with spin-offs Gal Lombardo and M-Appeal (nominated last year as a Philly Local Band of the Week on WXPN 88.5). It's an explosion of garage beats with new layers of raging hooks and ravishing hormones!

    Bodacious singer/guitarist Lynette Byrnes fronts with a booming voice as bassist Christine Weiser's harmony and solos adds a sultry dimension. Drumming phenom Elisa Chiusano spanks every song with lightning sticks and thunderous rhythms, and keyboardist John Byrnes complements the girls with big, thrusting sounds!

    Their dynamic live show includes a few “special” covers that are spun through the Tight web, like AC/DC's You Shook Me done in a totally unexpected way (download it free from here). They've been performing in Philadelphia's best national rock venues (The North Star, The Trocadero, The Khyber and The Tritone) and are gathering more and more prisoners — of love — as they tour!
