    Combining a stylish post-punk sound with electro elements, The Mind Automatic is a five-piece from Buffalo, NY. Drawing influences from diverse acts such as Spiritualized, Radiohead, The Pixies, Ouicksand and Sparta, they create an extremely theatrical, hypnotic, and tense brand of dark melodic indie rock. Presenting their live show as "works in an ongoing compostion" allows them to seamlessly transtion one song into the next. This in turn, creates a mood evolving soundtrack that is sure to reside in the listener's mind.
