    À LA UNE
following the formation of PHESTUR, the band had few line up changes, the complete line up came to in 2000, then with material in tow, the band set off on getting their name out to the masses, playing whenever and wherever they could from ohio to toronto canada.
putting out their first album [FUJITA'S PAD] in 2000 followed by [HERE IT COMEZ] in 2002, and then their third originally titled [PHESTUR 3] in 2004. PHESTUR has taken part in many festivals along the way including undercurrents and CMF and the international music expo. their motto...'nothing ventured nothing gained' became their creed when their 3rd. album PHESTUR 3 went national in the states. being put out by a label, the band renamed the ablum [PHESTUR downtown and underground] which following it's release earned the band 2 GRAMMY considerations for the 2005 GRAMMY awards. 'best hard rock performance' and 'best rock album'. "to even be considered by the academy is a huge step for any band" quotes phestur's front man Hines.
recording for the band's 4th album will begin mid 2005. PHESTUR, Cleveland's underdogs have somehow outlasted many great northern ohio bands proving that preserverence does pay off.
the next chapter is being written now.
