À LA UNE
As American and loud as Rock & Roll itself, Cheap Liquor (March 2005) is Ted Wulfers' first solo EP project. This 25 year-old Chicago musician/songwriter has been making music for more than 20 years with three self-released full-length albums already to his credit.
Ted’s bringing the party back to good old Americana Rock & Roll with Cheap Liquor. An ode to his favorite past times – women, drinking, legendary music and more, he performs like there is no such thing as closing time. Often compared to rocker legends such as Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Bruce Springsteen, AC/DC, Warren Zevon, Guns & Roses, The Rolling Stones, Gram Parsons, Dwight Yoakam and more, Ted gladly tips his hat and glass toward his roots and influences. Out all night and rarely putting his head down during the day, he is proud to run with the best.
Ted self- produced Cheap Liquor and worked closely with Engineer Manny Sanchez (Billy Corgan, Rod Stewart, Umphrey’s McGee). Cheap Liquor was recorded in Chicago at Gravity Studios, SOMA, The I.V. Lab and the Chicago Recording Company. Richard Dodd mastered the CD.
Cheap Liquor is the newest addition to the Ted Wulfers discography. Other albums available include: Upstream (’97), In The Spirit (’99) and Agave Blue (’02). Visit www.TedWulfers.com for information on tour dates, background or to purchase any of Ted’s music and merchandise.
