    À LA UNE
Based out of Augusta, Georgia, KnowFace burst onto the local music scene in September of 2003. Serious members of a couple local bands, tired of the monotony, decided that they wanted something different out of their music. “ Members that really searched themselves to discover what it is they were destined to do.” Leaving their respective bands, they joined forces to form KnowFace.

Very quickly, fans took notice and realized that they were witnessing something very rare and special. With Gabe Miller on lead vocals, John Berret on lead guitar, Rhett Brown moving from rhythm guitar to bass guitar, and the recent addition of new drummer Yankee Joe a.k.a “Lunchbox” on drums, the package is now complete. Born from musical influences such as Pantera, Black Sabbath, The Allman Brothers Band, Slayer and Tool, KnowFace has created a new sound of metal all their own. “Southern Metal” as they like to call it, is something new and refreshing that will definitely take the music industry by storm. KnowFace packs a powerful punch and keeps the crowd fully involved.
In February of 2005, KnowFace brought home the Dixie Dreg Award for Favorite Band. They have also opened for Shinedown, Jackyl, Josh Todd (Buckcherry), Taproot and Silvertide. KnowFace has also been featured on FOX-54’s Rock Hard TV. An article in Volume 1, Issue 5, of Volume Entertainment Mag states it best; “A whole lot of bands have their own sound, but few develop it into something that the masses will appreciate. Enter KnowFace.” Four people, one devastating sound!
