    To us, it’s all about the feeling you get when you play your heart out, whether before a small group of friends or a large crowd. Our music is the connection we create with the people surrounding us; it is the interpretation of various moods & emotions through different rhythms & melodies.

    Dear Firefly, consists of five members living around the Hammonton, NJ area: Anthony Jr., Ryan Gardiner, Justin Daniel, Jason Macri, & Daniel Moran. When forming in early 2005, we began to find the harmony between each of our musical talents. All of our individual styles meshed together into a very distinct sound: three unique guitar tones, warm bass lines, & soft set of soaring vocals over simple beats.

    The Fall 2005 EP is Dear Firefly,’s first release, carrying six songs of different sounds & musical elements. Recorded by Anthony Jr. in his home studio, & Sound!, the EP is an attempt to build a fan base as well as bestow a new sound into the lives of others. The heart & soul of Dear Firefly, was poured into each & every song created for the album & still flows through each new composition.

    Dear Firefly, is currently demoing new tunes for their next release. It’s still all about the feeling; each of us have that passion for seeing the crowds faces lift up to the ceiling.
