    Blending Rock, Pop & Electronica to an alternative flavor, Mute formed in London, when Carl & Marc - seeking to immerse themselves in the music scene they grew up listening to - moved to the UK from their native Montreal. They met Alex after placing an advertisement for a vocalist in the NME and soon began writing and recording songs in their South-London flat.
