    ESS began in the spring of 2002, consisting of three members of IRIS, a well established Atlanta band, and Eric Tennyson of Frowns of Fortune. Each member brings a unique style and attitude to the band, which has produced one of the Hottest rock bands in the Southeast.
    Eleven Standing Still’s sound has been described as "Tasteful, Modern Power Rock with Finesse & Style" by VOLUME MAGAZINE. The bands' music along with their Powerful & Energetic Live show has allowed them to develop a large and loyal fan base that continues to grow.
    To date, in 2005, Eleven Standing Still has toured the South Eastern United States selling thousands of copies of their debut album TURN TO RUST and performing over 70 shows in 6 states, including the NOPI Drag Racing Series events; as well as performing at Hi-Fi Buys Amphitheater in Atlanta, Georgia with 3 Doors Down, Staind and Alterbridge. They have been invited back to do two more shows next summer to open for the band of their choice at this premier venue along with a 12 city nation wide tour with NOPI in 2006.
    Eleven Standing Still has had 6 national television appearances on the Speed Channel, UPN (Atl.) and one appearance in 2004 on Spike TV; as well as a featured article in the December 2005 issue of Penthouse Magazine, plus radio plays and interviews on 96 Rock and 105.3 The Buzz in Atlanta, Gulf 104 in Tallahassee Fl., 96.7 the Buzz in Greenville, SC, and The Bungalow in London, England. U.K. Eleven Standing Still continues to spiral upward and win fans over one by one.
