    À LA UNE
Originally formed in 2002 by Chris Dippolito, (formerly of "The Nameless Nothings" and "Dippolito, Armstrong, and Olson") Agent Moosehead (Chris Dippolito - guitar/vocals Jon McNally - drums Pete Dippolito - bass) is a Jazz/Rock/Experimenta Funk combo that plays "tonally vibrant and rhythmically exhausting" music drawing upon influences the likes of Frank Zappa, Primus, and King Crimson, to The Mahavishnu Orchestra, Jeff Beck, and Nintendo Music.
Since their first performance in December of 2003, the band has enjoyed somewhat modest success including placing second out of fifteen bands in a competition at Bloomsburg University in April of 2004. Since then, Agent Moosehead has played at such reputable Philadelphia venues as The Tri-tone, Grape Street, and South Street Sounds.
In March of 2005, the band added long time friend John Briley to the lineup on electric piano and synthesizer as well as David Fishkin on tenor, and baritone saxophones as well as Matt Erlanger on Bb clarinet.
A new DVD of the full six piece band will be available in the near future, as well as the band's existing CD, Moose Tracks. Email them at agentmooseheadband@comcast.net for details.
