    À LA UNE
Originally starting off in late 2005 as a two piece, lead singer/guitarist Tiz and bassist Nick Butcher toured the Kingston area offering a slightly different alternative to the local scene. Playing mainly acoustic nights here and there they built up a good following and it wasnt long before they decided to expand, introducing drummer Sam Colston in July 2006. The new line up played more gigs, now with a slighty more rock vibe (due to the drums) but still keeping that acoustic feel. In October 2006 Fubar were asked to play in the Isle of Wight to over 300 people, a chance they jumped at and went down a storm. In January 2007 Fubar became a four piece introducing Ross Williams to play second guitar. In February the boys entered Stakeout Studios to record their new cd working with producer Jason Wilcock (who has worked with Reuben and Beyond Reasonable Doubt) and keyboard player Nic Slack from the band Twelve Days. Their cd "So Many Dynamos" came out in April 2007, they sold lots of copies and played lots of gigs. Then at the end of August it was decided that Sam and Ross would leave due to their commitments with band there other band Over and Out. Tiz and Nick took some time out to find the right people to join them....and they did just that...introducing on guitar Alex Rutherford and drums Jon Taylor. The new line up will now take to the road and will be playing somewhere near you very soon!
