    À LA UNE
Established in Surrey, late 2002, Inarchy began their existence as a 4 piece melodic metal band, playing their first gig at a Battle of the Bands in front of a healthy 500+ crowd and placing a respectable second. On completion of their first self-titled release, Inarchy were fast gaining respect, despite their age.

Having matured and gained influence spanning a diversity of genres and experiences, Inarchy devised their debut album, 'Janus'. Recorded at world renowned Ealing Studios, 'Janus' boasts an epic barrage of textured guitars, soaring vocals and innovative rhythms, thoughtfully laced with pounding riffs and unforgettable licks. Upon this release, Inarchy raised their local profile and sought to take their sound around the country, and have done so by travelling the University circuit and by reaching the National Final of Budwesier's Battle of The Bands 2006.

After 2007's surprise line-up change and the introduction of new bass player "Chops", Inarchy are now based on the South Coast of England, and are working on new material after a short hiatus. Currently finalising new tracks to appear on their forthcoming ep, 'Flaxen Malady', Inarchy find themselves once again striving for atmospheric and driving melodies with a constantly changing repetoire of material and instruments, which sees the imminent introduction of electronic arrangements, strings and a £12.50 1974 Hammond organ.
