FIRE FLIES – NY (USA)

The winning band of the Emergenza national final in NYC went to the much-deserved Fire Flies. This local four piece played with such energy and enthusiasm, they had the whole place rockin’. With great original songs and just a great overall originality this was a set not to be missed. They even belted through brand new songs that are on their latest CD. These songs in addition to their staple songs such as
"Call Me Your Darkness" made for a very smooth set that was played to perfection. It’s no question that these guys are gonna give the other bands at the Taubertal Festival a run for their money.

METROVOX – Chicago (USA)

In the beginning, they hated each other. It was the summer of 2004. Adam, Daniel, and Jorge could not seem to find common ground. Daniel''s ear-piercing, destructive guitar playing clashed with Adam''s rhythmic smoothness, while Jorge''s reckless pounding and sassy criticism drove them all to the brink.
But the three persevered, and soon, from the cacophonous din emerged a diamond in the rough, a well-crafted sound that was both tragic and beautiful. So potent was this musical concoction that it turned the existing polarity into a bond that cemented the relationship, formed the basis of MetroVox, and united the founding members both as friends and as musicians. The missing puzzle piece was soon put into place in the person of Sam Wolf, a local funny man, whose eccentric/melodic bass playing rounded out the sound and made the team complete. In no time at all, MetroVox began to win the hearts of fans wherever they played. With their recent success at the Emergenza Music Festival, MetroVox are poised to take their eclectic sound to the masses. Can world domination be far behind?

FÜR KERSTINS LETZTE – Munchen (DE)

Für Kerstins Letzte is a pop-group from Munich. Markus (keys, synthesizer), Julian (drums), Felix (guitar) and Flo (bass) started jamming in early 2005, and pretty soon it was clear, that something special was on it’s way. After one year of intensive rehearsal, the second guitar player Bene and the Singer Gürich got to the Band. Now they had the perfect line-up to get things going, as Bene is a damn guitar-genius, and Gürich is born for performing on stage. It is not so easy to describe the style, but it is most probably some mixture between funky beats, electronic influences, pop melodies and a little bit of rock. Für Kerstins Letzte tries not to fit in the typical scheme of german pop-acts of nowadays. They put much effort in their arrangements, to make interesting songs which are not too simple, but still pop. As influences you could name for example
