Wednesday, April 18th What an amazing starting concert was that first day of the five semi finals in the Kék Yuk. It is crazy that the bands could bring over 400 people into the club on a Wednesday. With that audience it could become only a very good concert day. Tűzmadár started the Semi Finals with their fast and melodic guitar riffs supported by the drum machine on the back on stage. Directly at the beginning, 20:00 o’clock, the first row was filled up with fans of the band. At the last song the crowd was singing their hymn melodies. Unfortunately we won’t see Tűzmadár in the final because the 72 votes they got were just good enough for the fourth place. But guys keep on that good work in the band and you will reach what you would like to. The second band of the night was Wendigo, so the second ‘Metal Hammer’ in a row. They started with the song ‘Broken’ which guitar sounds are very catchy. You could see that those guys love to be on stage. They have been disappointed with reaching only the 5th place with their votes, but cheer up guys, you do good stuff, keep it on! Live Mirror has been too excited before their show, especially their nerves couldn’t calm down because of the technical problems on stage, which could be solved after a while, so sorry again. But when they started their amazing show all excitement dropped down. Especially their last song ‘I’ve lost my way’ heated up the temper, where the good looking front woman introduced the whole crew. To made this event more colorful, the next band brang in the concert hall their thinking of real Latin Pop. The frontman’s voice of CaracasUnderpop, Pablo, fits great together with the voice of the Lady on stage. Supported by the rhythm faction, drums, bass and percussion, they showed the crowd that their is not only existing Rock music in Budapest. BÜNTETÉS VÉGREHAJTÓK were lucky guys, cause they got the chance to play in the Kék Yuk only because inCorrect has quit their singer and could not play. These guys have been very happy about this situation. They gave their best, with their colorful Alternative Rock. The very sympathic Suburban Neon did not change that much in their show, so the bassist with the big curls peruke, the singer with sun glasses and yellow T-shirt, exept that the brother of the drummer Márk, who plays in Rorschach, was joining with his guitar Suburban Neon on stage. Their beach looking brang them again on step forward directly into the final in Budapest. It was time to go on stage for Rorschach. This time they did not bring the girl, which sang the last song in the Kultiplex, but for that they made some songs together with the singer of the following band Suburban Neon. Now the audience was totally crazy about this concert day. They screamed, shouted, clapped their hands, moved their body and enjoyed a big festival day. We will also see this band in the final. Congratulation! The Black Leaves had the hard job to be the last band on a weekday, but luckely some 100 people still stayed and supported them. Their metal had especially in one song Stoner Rock attitudes where you have to head bang! Their dark looking and sound is mixed with the brigthness of the front woman, which make the band sound like f. e. Within Temptation. Thursday, April 19th Clown started the second semi final show. Their music is between Hardcore and Crossover, so hard guitar riffs and shouting by the singer. But not only this are the trade marks of this band also off beat rhythms are included, beside the Rasta hair of the singer and the hair styling of the drummer. The crowd started to do the pogo just from the beginning of their show. These sympathy young guys seem not to play together for a long time, because their music is not so powerful together yet. The second band of the evening, Metrosection, is a typically teeny band. Right from the start young<
