The Kitchies est un groupe Indie/Rock/Pop/Electro, formé à Brighton en 2010. Il se compose de Jonathan Lecoq (Singer, Guitarist), Jérémy Souillart (Singer, Guitarist, Keyboard), Florent Gualandi (Bassist) et Yannick Scardina (Singer, Drummer). Leur musique est un cocktail pop d’influences éclectiques à l’image de la scène anglaise récente, quelque part entre Metronomy, Two Door Cinema Club et Zulu Winter. La recette ici est un savant mélange entre pop légère et enjouée, mélodies tout-terrain nettes et bien construites, accessibles à tous. Autour, on ajoute des voix aériennes, avec une voix solo (Jonathan) qui s’appuie sur des chœurs ou sur des voix en contrepoint.
