Storm Without Cease: a term used to describe an unbreakable force of will, spirit and motivation.

To the members of SWC, a band name should reflect the music and individuals who create it. Since their conception, the band’s spirit has generated their explosive, against-the-grain style. ”There’s no denying our rock influences,” says vocalist Anthony Hanyk, “But we feed off pushing the limits to expand the boundaries of modern music.”
Co-founders Hanyk and percussionist/songwriter Dave Grim met while in their early teens. Their shared determination and passion for music led them to seek out other musicians with the same drive and ambitions. Enter Kaleb Driedger, Scott Appleton and Corey Chambers. “Although we’ve played with dozens of people, the creative energy experienced in this group is undeniable,” says Grim. “The result is a group of guys who bring out the best in each other with their united vision.”
Storm Without Cease first took shape in London, Ontario in the late `90’s. Having released two independent albums and playing numerous shows SWC has established a dedicated fan base. “I think our success comes from the fact that we offer a fresh alternative to radio copy-cat bands,” comments Driedger. “Our fans appreciate the music because it’s real, it’s who we are.”
SWC’s live show is an in-your-face explosion of raw power and emotion. The band captivates the crowd with it’s addictive riffs, massive beats and Hanyk’s distinctive presence. This combination charges the audience and connects them to the Storm Without Cease experience. With various Canadian music industry professionals including members of Bif Naked, Headstrong and the Gandharvas attending their shows, it’s only a matter of time before the band achieves mainstream success.
With their sites set on taking the band to the next level, SWC are currently writing and demoing new material. With the addition of their personal studio they have been able to refine and define the Storm Without Cease sound. The band is confident and the music is better than ever.
