Who wants to follow Nervous Nellie’s, Dechas’ and Willow Tree’s steps, the Swedish bands who stood out in Emergenza Festival past editions and who are now making a hit throughout Europe and America? In Stockholm the fun starts Sunday march 8th at the fabulous Alcazar, the favorite stage for up and coming bands where music resounds in the wooden walls and floors and the atmosphere is always hot. 7 of them will strut their stuff for 30 minutes each on the . It’ll be up to the audience to pick their favorites – four bands per night will get to move on to the Semi-Finals, according to their votes! On the premiere, rock is the flavour du jour, but get ready to hear all variation on the theme: metal, punk, hip hop, alternative rock. In the following gigs, thrown in the mix to spice things up is World Music, Funk, R&B, rockabilly, but also the wild sound of thrash, gothic and grunge. In total, 70 talented bands will take to the stage in the Swedish capitol! Next gigs, march 9, 10, 11; and more Eliminatory nights are on the way in Stockholm in April, 5th and 6th and 19th to 22th. And then for those who make it, the gates will open of the very hottest venues of the city: the Klubben (where last year’s final was held) and Ladies and Gentleman… the fabulous Göta Källare will welcome the final!
