From his magic world Wiz of Oz is back in touch, we can hear his voice load and clear, and he is saying: where are you all? Get out from school, gym and the hairdresser, go back to your garage, take your instruments and play! Wiz of Oz and Captain Nemo were swamped with tons of demos last year, now they have a cold turkey: what are you waiting for??? The Wiz is at the window, he is waiting for some winged wonder to shake his musical apathy off, while our sea explorer is ready for new adventures… if not, what sort of captain would he be? Would you like a critique, an advice, or an opinion of your recording? Would you like it to be funny, fair, harsh all together? You can now send us your demos and a couple of great music experts will give it a review. This, together with a 55 second clip of one of your pieces, will be published on our website Every 15 days the legendary Captain Nemo and his “number 1”, The Wiz, will “surface” with a final judgement of the recordings that the bands have sent us. A 55 second passage from every CD we receive will be put on the MP3 section of the website where everyone can listen to it. If someone really enjoys what they hear, they can then stop by your place to buy the demo. So, do not forget to fill the form with all the info that who want to find you would need… BE AVAILABLE! Wiz and Captain are warming up listening to some American and Canadian bands…will they set a standard? Maybe: it is up to you all to demonstrate not to be less than them… A small footnote: for the time being our website has 4000 hits every day on average, the contest has just began (so hits will increase more and more), and in the future we are thinking about YOU to upload your songs on the website… just imagine how many people could be reached by your music… Ok, stop thinking now.
