THE B.E.S.T. WAY TO GO ON TOUR
14 successful nights
Performing in legendary venues that you could only dream of , meeting friends you have lived the Emergenza adventure with, in a new thrilling framework. keep track on to the bands who have made it, and find out that they are not so different from you. Last but not least, getting the chance of being spotted by A&Rs of major record companies.
It is B.E.S.T., (Best of Emergenza’s Seasonal Tour), that makes all this possible: the special series of shows in the best European and Canadian Clubs, that finished with roaring success just a few days ago.
From September to November, fourteen concerts in all, the best bands who have taken part to Emergenza Festival in the last years, and that have been selected by our staff, performed live in front of several talent scouts, for whom Emergenza has been for years a benchmark and an appointment not to miss to discover the hottest talents.
Moreover, the entrance to the concerts is free, so there is always a great and enthusiastic audience watching the show. Actually our bands do have to demonstrate that they can face and catch a large and demanding public: now each one has to show its best, the real qualities that made them distinguish from the other ones.
However, on the other side, bands are not affected by that stress that is typical in a contest, so all they have to do is concentrating on their show, but also enjoying the unforgettable atmosphere of a live event.
This achievement is one of our goals: creating a real community of artists, musicians and friends that is capable of overcoming linguistic and geographic barriers, and knows that can rely on a trustworthy worldwide organization, whose mission statement is clear and simple: to let more and more musicians to play live.
Therefore every B.E.S.T. concert actually provides for at least one guest star performing, and this creates a real and continuous exchange of experiences, impressions and emotions, besides giving unsigned bands the opportunity to gain notoriety abroad, possibly overseas. Then the mythical stage at the New Morning, in Paris, took the now famous Emil Bulls from Germany, besides No radical change from Italy; Emil Bulls again and Zen from Italy, took their show to three Canadian cities like Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa; moreover, WillowTree from Sweden, who won the 2001 International Final, played in Italy and Germany; the Spanish band La Suite Mosquito played in Italy, while No Radical Change, again, in Spain, besides opening the show of headliner Therapy?, in Florence…
Furthermore, B.E.S.T. presents even bands that stood out in the past years: among them, bands that have been discovered by Emergenza and today have a deal with major record companies and play with the best bands in the world. Emil Bulls published their second album with Universal, were on tour with Linkin Park and opened live concerts of Audioslave, Metallica, Placebo, Deftones; Zen performed as supporters for Linkin Park, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Red Hot Chili Peppers… it is them, the bans who have made it, the best demonstration of our commitment.
