EMERGENZA FESTIVAL.

WHAT DOES IT HAVE TO OFFER?

Emergenza Festival has been operating in Europe and North America for many years. Numerous bands have participated in this contest for “up & coming” bands, so of course we can give you a list of “our” good reasons to enrol, but we can also back them up with testimonies from many musicians. The first reason is that every band dreams of playing live on stage. After all, it doesn’t make any sense to form a band and not perform live. The second reason is that there is no other organization like the Emergenza Festival that helps unheard-of bands to step into the spotlight of the international scene, and introduces them into the world of professional music. Our contacts with A&R’s, Columbia Sony Germany, etc., give the best bands the chance improve, to make contacts, and sometimes even get contracts that are unusual for someone who is just coming onto the scene in the Music Industry. At the same time, a band must be actively involved in the process if they seriously want to meet their goals. They have to take part in preparing the performance, organizing promotional aspects, perfecting their show, working together with the Emergenza Festival staff on the technical side of the gigs, participating in meetings and so on. With all this in mind, a band who participates just to “play a bit” will not get good results, and most likely will find the experience to be useless and disappointing. Another reason is that dozens of managers in Europe and North America are working hard to create relevant opportunities for “up & coming” musicians. They not ONLY want to give them a chance to get their 30 minutes in the spotlight in front of an audience. There is so much more! It goes deeper than the just the concert nights that many of you have seen around Europe and North America. The whole structure of the Emergenza Festival is based on discovering and promoting new bands throughout Europe and North America, and this is the most efficient and effective way to do that. In other words, should you choose to participate in the Emergenza Festival, do it with the desire to reach a goal. This goal could be any number of things like: win the concert, get into the picture with producers and A&R, it may even be to convince the managers of the Emergenza Festival to put the band on the international scene for various showcases, or simply to evolve as a band through the experience. Next to the Emergenza Festival, the well-known little concert in the pub or club can be fun, but when it’s over - it’s over. A concert with Emergenza is like a ticket for the train, and it’s going somewhere. It could be a stepping stone in creating other opportunities for the near future! Emergenza Festival has organised thousands of concerts. We can assure you that there is no band that goes by unnoticed. Most of the musicians don’t realize that during the meetings, the sound check, before, during, and after the concert, their behaviour is noticed and registrated by members of the organization. This goes to show that a band that is not so dedicated to the project has the same chance as a band that cannot make music or hasn’t much talent. This isn’t said to be cynical, but it’s just reality. And it’s not all just a bunch of talk, ask any of the bands that, through the Emergenza Festival, are now pursuing their dream careers as professional musicans. Good luck to everybody. Keep on playing hard!
