First reaction: what a success!!!! The Parisian audience didn't miss the acoustic event of the year, around a thousand persons attended at the acoustic European final. The cozy MCM Café was a perfect host for this kind of event, what's better than listening to a good concert seated in a large sofa! The jury had a tough time to choose between all the Euro winners. McKINLEY Black, the melancholic singer from Berlin, JAHCOUSTIX AND JUNIOR MANGO, the two reggae players from Munich and SOUL A RISE, excellent acoustic band from Paris were all great performers but Luca Casagrande from Rome was really too amazing that night. The finger picking guitarist impressed the jury and the audience with his technique and his science of the improvisation. We can't stand waiting one more month to see him at the NAMM Show in January in Anaheim in California. Thanks to Kaman (Takamine and Ovation group), Luca will appear during the Acoustic Café Night between a selection of the best North American Guitarist. We would like to thank all the artists who were a part of the event everywhere in Europe, the large audience that follow the concert and Takamine and Ovation (plus all the local distributors) who provided a wonderful equipment.
