You have participated in the Emergenza Festival Edition 2014/2015. What made you decide to take part in it?
It seemed like a legit band competition, and we saw it as a great opportunity to get appearance.
As you approach the world final, what is your state of mind?
It’s really exciting and we look forward to see our “opponents”, and play for a bigger crowd. Most importantly we just want to play a good show, have a blast and forget that it’s a competition.
What is your best memory from your Emergenza experience?
Of course our first international gig in Stockholm! Also the moment when they announced that we would be the ones representing Finland abroad.
What's behind your band's name? Any specific meaning?
The name comes from the thought of making music with complete flow. No “red lights”.
If you had to choose a famous song that represents your band...which one would it be?
Kanye West - Touch The Sky.
If your band had another name, what would it be?
Vivid
Can you tell us a funny story or anecdote about your experience on stage?
One time the software of our backing track crashed. Even though it happened in the middle of a song, we were able to finish it. While it took 10/15 minutes for the computer to reboot we started to improvise. We ended up jamming, and the crowd enjoyed it.
What can audiences expect from one of your live performances?
A lot of energy and good vibes = good times
Before you go on stage, do you have a ritual or a good luck charm that goes everywhere with you?
Not really. We just chill with the band and talk about the weather. Right before a gig it’s too late to worry about if you could’ve practiced more or if you’re good enough, so we just stay relaxed and optimistic.
What is your dream gig?
Any sold out gig for people who knows and loves our music!
Do you guys have any hobbies? What do you do when you don’t play?
Playing FIFA is a big part of the band’s creative process.
If you could invite a band or an artist at your party, dead or alive, who would it be?
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart for sure! Would be interesting to get his look on our hiphop.
What are your short to medium term plans after the international final?
We are all focusing on the band full time. We’re booking gigs and recording in the studio as much as possible.
What question did I forget? Can you suggest a question you would want me to ask?
How serious are you as a band? We are a 100% in, and every member of the band wants to spend their lives building a successful career in music.
Why do you think you deserve to win the 2015 Festival edition?
We are ambitious and dedicated, and we think our music brings something new to the table. We’ve received great response so far, and with a little bit of professional help and promotion we could make it really far.
