You have participated in the Emergenza Festival Edition 2014/2015. What made you decide to take part in it?
We knew we could play in some prestigious venues (such as the bataclan where we played for the final). It also allowed us to share our music to a broader audience

As you approach the world final, what is your state of mind?
We are really excited, we can't wait to taste a fat curryweirsrt!

What is your best memory from your Emergenza experience?
When we learnt we just won the French final!!!

What's behind your band's name? Any specific meaning?
Casablanca Driver (without the s) is the name of a French movie we all love because of its of-the-wall humour!! You should watch it!

If you had to choose a famous song that represents your band...which one would it be?
Celebration by Kook and the Gang

If your band had another name, what would it be?
Alain

Can you tell us a funny story or anecdote about your experience on stage?
I think our gig for the French final deserves to be told! We had a lot of technical issues, our microphones didn't work well, the speakers on the stage whistled, Alex's guitar stopped working at the end and Nick broke no less than 3 strings. So for the last song we decided to improvise a rap song (drum and bass) and nick jumped into the crowd and hurt a girl...

What can audiences expect from one of your live performances?
An electric gig, some rock and roll and some crazy jumps. Tell the audience to wear protections!!

Before you go on stage, do you have a ritual or a good luck charm that goes everywhere with you?
No we don't (except the few beers we drink before playing, but it's just normal!)

What is your dream gig?
We don't really know.. Maybe a gig on a landing strip while planes are landing, not bad isn't it?

Do you guys have any hobbies? What do you do when you don’t play?
We all like pony riding!!

What are your short to medium term plans after the international final?
We'd love to play with the Gypsies de Petionville, they're really cool!

Why do you think you deserve to win the 2015 Festival edition?
Cause we all get on very well and when we play the audience can feel our energy!!! See you there and cause we'll drive all the way from corsica (1800 kilometers) on an old van just to play five songs!!
