We are now stepping into the eclectic zone. Violin, Double bass, Didjeridoo, acoustic guitar and drums......It started off with the singer comfortably sitting on his stool playing not one, but 2 didjeridoos (he outdone the singer from the Dutch band who only had one), he then started to play his beautifully sounding acoustic guitar. After that, he started singing and we were captivated. In comes the violinist, she plays a few notes than the double bass player on next. The drummer came in last and the song had a beautiful crescendo with sounds and beats mixed in a magical way.
A stunning set from this Victorian band where arrangements were clearly at the top of their priorities list. The faster numbers were also well received with the crowd showing their appreciation by whistling and cheering (some even screaming). Overall this was a superlative set and we were grateful to see a band that came from such distance. Thank you Rhys Crimmin & the Toms. Thank you for the vibes.
