The CARNABYS come on stage with the confidence that only a young british band can show. A very skillful five piece with a super lead guitar player they are all students of some of the best music schools in their country. In London, a journalist from the Chiswick chronicle went as far as describing them as the best band to come out of West London since The Who. I have to agree really.
Spacing from slow numbers to faster soul, bluesy rock pieces, the boys know how to write a great tune as well as deep meaningful lyrics. Lyrics that had all the people in the front of the stage daydreaming.
We know UK bands usually have the edge and know how to write great tunes and put up a great show. These lads and they are proof that even at 18, they fit into that category.......The Journalist was right, they are one of the best bands to come out of West London. Actually the whole of London. Forget the Olympics, forget London Bridge....go see the Carnabys next time you're there.
