The city of the infamous Prince really rolled out some talent for this season of semifinals! The first night was on Friday May 19th, which had the band Virgin Whores lead an astray set that had the lead singer in striped pants similar to that of Beetlejuice. Ferocious Flow slowly bent the minds of the crowd, while Copasetic heightened the room with a female vocalist. Nothing Static broke out an undertow of sound and Pillowfist brought out their dukes with a metal set. Citizens Banned played a song titled "Cube" that finished off this night. Saturday, May 20th brought on the band Floozie that had their crew spellbound, and AEF had a small town background but a big city sound. Staija played a song titled "CWR" that moved the crowd, and Seazon of the Fly brought in some serious noise and energy. The Early Effect had a perpetual motion that moved through their audience like a machine with duracell batteries. Sunday had a different twist with the band Ananda Acoustic Roots who had an acoustic set that shook the stage for the following bands that followed. Dirty Sanchez were full of rock and North to Emerson played a song titled "Always away" May 27th being a Saturday had the weekend crowd warmed up with Hall Effect who were an American head trip, while Dr.Sinn had a different vision. Embers of a Saint were heard like peroxide through the room, and Facing the Plastic played a song titled "Fire Power" that brought the audience to the stage. Undone ended their set with "Mary Jane" that brought this evening to an end. The last night of this round of semifinals was on Sunday May 28th. The band to start the night off was War, Peace, Love who performed a simple structured set that moved the audience into a different vibe. While David Levin had a song titled "Blood and Feathers" that gave a different imagery to the song. 13 Hertz were like a cool waterway of energy, and Propaganja For Her Pleasure played a song titled "Say you know what''s going on in my head". That concludes the Semifinals in Minneapolis the Finals will be taking place at the Cabooze on June 24th.
