The prizes to be awarded at all the regional and national Emergenza Finals across the world will be announced in the next few days. More than 1,000,000 $ worth of instruments, gear and promotional services await the best bands and musicians. Ernie Ball Music Man, Crate, Ampeg, Mapex, Sabian, Sennheiser, Snarling Dogs, Powderfinger, Nimbit, OnlineGigs and many others offer the prizes and support the Festival. For the 2006 finals many new and surprising prizes will be added to the heap of those already announced at the beginning of the season. For example Mapex, will once again increase its contribution to the festival: providing a special prize – the brand new PANTHER TRIBAL SNARE – to one drummers at the International Final. As usual there will be lots of prizes awarded locally as well. Another new prize is the ‘band award’, that goes to the band who bands like most in each final: THE INDIE BIBLE and THE MUSICIAN’S ATLAS, two useful books that feature the most qualified and in-depth contact information available for music business. At all the finals, the winners will be chosen by a jury made up of experts and personalities from our music industries and media partners, in cooperation with our tour managers.
