Echovalve, last year''s Atlanta national final winners, are about to embark on a nationwide tour sponsored by Emergenza. The boys got a bit of "practice last week in Nashville on the "Best of Emergenza tour". Echovalve rocked a huge crowd on what was their first gig of a lenghty tour which will take them in places that they never dreamed of playing. Jay, echovalve''s guitarist, had these things to say to us: The Emergenza experience: we had a lot of fun, we made great friends and had lots of exposure: and other bands’ musicians saying how they would like our performance and to play again with us. In addition to this, Emergenza allowes all of the bands that performs to be seen by many people that would have never heard of them before ... and to play together with bands that would hardly meet on stage! Taubertal represents the top of what I''ve just said: the biggest audience, the greatest fun, the most talented bands... an unforgettable experience. We can''t wait to go on tour with Emergenza. We''ll play in cities where we''ve never been: Boston, Chicago, New York, Detroit and many others. It''s the lifestyle we love: playing around and bringing people out, increasing our fan base. Did our show in Nashville kicked ass? yep it did. It was so cool. We''d never been there, noboby knew us but everybody was so enthusiastic about us. We could never thank Emergenza enough for giving us this opportunity. almost a year has passed since our victory in the us national final and our third place in the international final in Germany but little has changed in our band. Well, actually the singer is changed (laughs); yes, there have been some ''complications''... a troubled year, and we''re starting just now to pick the fruits of the seeds we planted last year!!! I can say we are ''re-starting'' now. Look forward to going on tour! A suggestion to bands who are taking part or willing to take part in the festival? Well it may sound weird as we were national winners but... it''s not about the competition, actually. It''s all about loving music and having fun while playing. That''s the best part. All the rest is consequence! A And there''s much more to come: new songs, several showcases, talking with labels that are interested in our music... the future looks bright. And bright will be, I add.
