On to the Final
All that stands in between Buffalo and Brooklyn is one more night at the Town Ballroom. That’s right I’m talking about the final night here in buffalo and let me tell you, this is going to be one great night. From all the winners that moved from the Tralfs’ stage I wouldn’t want to miss this night.
Thursday was a great start with the opening band My First Words taking the first position of evening. They gave a great show. Coming in second was Victim 6, who is going to give just as strong of a metal set at the final as they did here at the Tralf. Now as for Rusted Bullet, well this Irish Rock Band did it again. A very awesome set from these boys. This night set the pace for a good weekend.
This Friday had one awesome crowd. The Hoax took first place with over 100 votes, but that doesn’t even describe the energy that they had on stage and with the crowd. Great job guys! Not far off is A Scarlet Tragedy. They came in second place but put up one hell of a performance. Taking the third place was Now or Never. These guys are probly one of the most fun bands to watch on stage. With the energy of the bassist and the slamming guitar solos from their guitarist, to the intense piano and vocals, these guys will be a good act to catch at the final.
Saturday was by far best night as far as for the crowd. Even with 6 bands these guys moved their asses to have a packed house for this show. Then there was their show, which was off the hook. With a tie for 1st place between BeArthur and Colors In The Air, these guys both promoted well, and played well. I’m sure that they will be big contenders for the final. In 2nd place Vapor Aevum preformed very very well. Our sophomore band Addictive Tragedy is also moving on to the final night. An all woman band, these ladies’s know how to throw it down. This was a great night for Emergenza.
Sunday, 6 bands again, but once again never a disappointment from these bands here in Buffalo. What a great closing night show. We had every type of music tonight. In first place was Flashlight Phobia, a great band who’s stage show is one not to be missed. The Good Time rock and roll band Hastings came in second place tonight. These guys have yet to let anyone down. And then there’s Brazen, a band without a bass player that makes just as much noise. These guys gave one hell of a show. For a Sunday I was happy to see such a great show.
With this being the last weekend here in Buffalo, I see the final being a great night to remember. If you have never seen these bands before now is your chance to step into their realm, and see what kind of show they have in store for you. I will wish the best of luck to all of you. I will see one of you in Germany!!! Good luck
