Toronto does it again!

Nothing but the best this weekend here at the Kathedral. This was and exciting weekend full of great bands from the Toronto area. With this being my first visit to Toronto with Emergenza, I didn’t know what to expect from this city but boy was this a colorful weekend with great bands like Mineseye, Bluesunderdog, and Zameer, these bands where defiantly worth the trip any day of the week. Thursday This was a great night at the Kathedral. Now I know why people are saying that Thursday is the new Friday. We had a great crowd and great bands, what more could someone ask for! Mineseye took control of the night and took home the win with an awesome show. Not too far behind was Mailorderbride, with a great stage show. This was defiantly a night to remember here in Toronto. Friday Friday was an insane show, with Bluesunderdog taking the win and NDH coming in second place. This was a show not to be missed. The Bluesunderdog gave a crowd-pleasing show, with their chants, and their people dancing, this was a great band to see. I wont be surprised to see this band go all the way to Germany. Sunday From Tamara Podemski to Zameer, This was by far the most eclectic night. We had a folk rock band Tamara Podemski, that had a trumpet played by the bassist, and some great acoustic guitars, this band is a must see. Zameer took the stage and had a great audience for this show. Another great acoustic band, but wow were the vocals amazing. Zameer even had his brother accompany him on stage for two songs, both sing well together. I can’t forget to mention Reverie. They took the second place with a jaw dropping show. This was a great night here at the Kathedral. For a first time visit to Toronto with Emergenza, I was not let down one bit. I can’t wait to see what will happen at the quarterfinals here in Toronto. I’ll see you at the Reverb!!
