This is the third year here at the Mohawk place, and everything is going great. Opening weekend was full of great artists from all over the Buffalo area. After sending Woke Up In Vegas to Detroit last year, I’m sure we will see a band from Buffalo go all the way to Germany this year. Opening weekend here again at the Mohawk these no way to go wrong at the. The Mohawk Place sure knows how to throw a party. Great sound, great staff, great bartender, and great bands, what more could a person ask for! Great Bands!! This weekend featured great bands like on Thursday, Remember Yesterday, and Now or Never who where the top two bands of the night. Both with tight sets gave a great show and rocked the Mohawk. Friday turned a different page in the book of Buffalo. It was A Strong Metal/Punk/Rock show, with two awesome bands that showed Mohawk How Metal Gets Down! Body Born Still Made great friends with Her Model Stand In, both laid it down on that stage, and had an amazing show. Saturday, Hastings schooled everyone on how Rock N’ Roll was meant to be done. With six guys who grew up together, age well together and still jam like the best, Hastings was a great show. What a great night. Sunday, Sunday, Sunday! This was a night to remember! It just keeps getting better and better with two great talented up and coming bands like Liberal Six, to the insanely great set from Charles Wants To Kiss You Goodbye, to the funk soul of Bearthur, this was my favorite night of the weekend. When two 13 year olds and a 16 year old get on a stage and steal the show the way Charles Wants to Kiss You Goodbye, you know that these kids are going places. But I can’t fail to save the best for last! A Scarlet Tragedy! Great Crowd, tight set. Man do these guys have their stuff together! Keep up the great work!! From all the great bands that I saw this weekend I already have a good feeling about Buffalo sending a band all the way to Germany. Just keep up the good work and keep your heart in it and you wont go wrong ever. Thank you Buffalo.
