Thursday Dec. 8th, 2005 This was the first night that Emergenza launched in Vancouver. The second band to follow was Anita Hore who beat the brains of the audience while chewing gum in the mic. Then the Fight United charmed the crowd with ink and flesh and created their own war! The band who was believed to be Drowning in the Mainstream was actually playing towards the sky. While The Stalls certainly weren''t kidding around with their mad keyboard beats. Following their set was Formula who had a concoction of their own. To finish off this round was Tribal who were on a voyage to Pluto…. Friday Dec. 9th, 2005 She Says Electric sparked the stage and had the party fully divulging their sound. Lotus gave it all away with an audience member who was given an airplane ride through the crowd. Up next was anything but a Deadend Job that had a revelation on stage. KOI came out like a lion and had the rooftops burning. While Unit 731 had the best intentions to keep the party going with a world of following. Saturday Dec. 10th, 2005 The Smears shook the club with their familiar fans that weren''t so scared when their guitarist stood on top of the drum kit and rocked out.The Redheaded stepchild found their real parents in the crowd. The Joint Chiefs were not for sale on their set, but owned it with a “million dollar man”. Following them was the Next T-Shirt who called a truce with dead end love and opted for a war bride! The band For No One played for everyone a song titled “So Long” that rounded out their set with a big applause. The Void filled their set with sweeter things that should come with a warning sign. Sunday Dec. 11th, 2005 Miriam Davidson moved towards a definition then vanished in the sunlight. While the band Innocent Bystander wasn''t so innocent when the fire alarm was set off during their set. But they still played through as “the show must go on!” The Imperial Playground started the crowd back up once again and took control. Lokjaw''s ill will fired up like a disease in the crowd, and Antiquus closed the weekend with the song titled “Empire Rising” that certainly set the tone for the next round of shows to come in Vancouver!
