Aside from being able to offer bands access to some of the best and most renowned venues in each city, and to award the best bands and musicians with wonderful prizes, Emergenza offers a great showcasing & networking opportunity. Playing an Emergenza show means a great experience and a lot of potential new fans for a band looking for exposure. There is also plenty of opportunity for bands to network with each other – there are 9,000 bands in the database & participating musicians can offer shows in their city in exchange for a show in another city, or chose to contact musicians with other propositions. There is also the ever important opportunity of making connections with the venues – several times times clubs owners and bookers have offered Emergenza bands slots and showcases. Emergenza is a particularly worry-free experience for participating bands: we book the venue, we provide the backline, all they have to do is play – and impress the audience! For those who succeed, a second show awaits along with the possibility to play at a larger and higher quality venue during the semi finals. Bands will play at the first round venue in their city beginning in October and November; semi finalists will perform again in the  winter & spring and 12 - 14 bands will play at their city’s final in June and July 2006. The grand prize, a show at Emergenza’s International Final, Taubertal Open Air Festival, which takes place in Rothenberg Germany, awaits the winners of the National Finals.   Emergenza is unique in that it not only offers ‘up & coming’ bands the opportunity to play in venues to which they may not otherwise have access, but also allows them to play using gear that is associated with nothing but the highest standard of quality. Being sponsored by the industry’s finest – Remo, Ernie Ball, St. Louis Music, Sennheiser and many others – allows Emergenza to give these musicians access to the gear of their dreams. Amps, microphones, drums, cymbals and all other necessary gear is supplied for each concert night.   Participating bands also have the opportunity of being featured on one of Emergenza’s annual Compilation CD’s - which are handed out at shows and passed on to appropriate individuals in radio stations as well as record companies – and/or being chosen to participate in the B.E.S.T. Tour.
