How to take part?

All you need to know to book your spot on stage

If you''ve got an unsigned band, if you want to play live in major venues, gaining experience and having a lot of fun, Emergenza is what you need!            You can play whatever music style you want, you can play original or cover songs, you can sing in any language you choose, or not sing at all: any kind of music is welcome at Emergenza. We will provide you with the stage, the technical organization and the promotion; what happens next is up to you. There’s two ways you can register: - by phone: call our staff at +1 888 923 BAND (from US, toll free);  +1 514270 BAND (from Canada); 00 800 923 22630 (from Europe) - online through Emergenza website:  click  here  and fill the application form;   A meeting with an Emergenza local manager will be arranged in which you will learn how Emergenza works and confirm your inscription (you will be given the date of your first concert). Since then, the local manager is yourperson of reference, do not hesitate to contact him for any question! And remember that all the members of the band MUST participate at the meeting! Unlike other contests, once you pay our one-time only fee (70 USD, 75 CAD), you are guaranteed to play at least one show in the eliminatory round in your city. The bands will never be required to pay other fees if they advance further in the festival. Moreover, enrolled bands  will receive FREE string set for guitar and bass courtesy of our main sponsor, Ernie Ball, as well as a pair of Regal Tip drumsticks and a Remo snare drum head these gifts somewhat make up for the fee, and will be given at the technical meeting which takes place before the show. You are not obliged to send a demo or a press kit, because there is no pre-selection of bands before the concerts: we want bands to show what they can do on stage! Of course, the Emergenza managers will be more than happy to receive the band’s demo at the meeting, having the opportunity to listen to their music and point it out to the Scouting Department. … all you have to do is enrol now, and then keep on playing!
