Emergenza is expanding in North America and Europe

2005 was a great year for Emergenza''s international expansion in both Europe and North America, an all around success in terms of enrolment and audience figures, choice of venues, quality of bands. In June and July the national finals all around averaged audiences of 1800 people. The 2006 season will see Emergenza in 28 additional cities in The US (Albuquerque, Austin, Baltimore, Birmingham, Columbia, Columbus, Dallas, Denver, El Paso, Houston, Jacksonville, Miami, Minneapolis, New York-Manhattan, New York-New Jersey, Phoenix, Portland, Sacramento, San Antonio, San Jose, San Francisco, Seattle, Tucson) and Canada (Calgary, Vancouver) - making it a grand total of 45 cities across North America. As for Europe, Ireland, Holland, Belgium, Finland and Norway will also be added with 7 more cities (Helsinki, Oslo, Amsterdam, Tilburg, Brussels, Antwerp and Dublin). This shift estabilishes Emergenza as the biggest force in the medium to small gig international market: about 10,000 bands will globally spread over 1,400 gigs just for the first round!! Worldwide promotion has already started starting with posters, brochures and flyers, followed by mags and radio in certain territories. Every year, we also improve our venue list around the globe, offering bands some of the most amazing clubs in the world. The Razzmatazz in Barcelona for instance, where the Spanish national final was held, has recently been home to sold-out shows by Muse and Slipknot. At the Majestic in Detroit, Iggy Pop has recently performed and the Metro in Chicago has hosted some of the biggest acts in the world such as The Smashing Pumpkins. These are just some examples to show the importance of working with the world''s top clubs… just immagine bands'' prospects for showcasing and touring. Got a band? Want to be part of all this?
