NEW PARTNERSHIPS AND BENEFITS FOR ALL BANDS ACROSS NORTH AMERICA Last march, at the South by South West international music convention for what is one of the biggest deals in the Emergenza history to benefit bands looking for “promotion and guidance”. POWDERFINGER PROMOTIONS, NIMBIT SERVICES and ONLINEGIGS have become joint partners with Emergenza to supply services to all bands taking part in the Emergenza International Festival. A free trial worth $100 for services from the above companies, will be given in the form of a voucher to all bands taking part next year (2006) across the United States. POWDERFINGER PROMOTIONS, NIMBIT SERVICES and ONLINEGIGS will be on hand to teach and help musicians in all aspects of promotion. “we take care of promotion through a network of companies across the U.S.A.” says Powderfinger President David Avery. “We also have to teach bands and artists how to work hard for themselves basically when it comes to promotion. Starting from this year's finals (first ones being in Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, Nashville and Buffalo May 28th) these companies will give out something in the region of 60,000$ plus dollars in services and various prizes to the best bands voted by the judges and many other prizes for the runners up. Prizes such as free web-hosting, free college radio promotion nationwide and free CD duplication, are on the “bill” at ALL the finals. Along with national booking agents, independent press journalists, studio producers, digital distribution representatives and such companies as Boston's Sonicbids and Nashville's revolutionary artist development, the meeting at South by South West was the most focused and productive, in order to create a totally independent alliance/partnership to give bands at all levels, an opportunity to shine.
