The Emergenza managers have had a hard time choosing from among several demos and press kits provided by the European bands in the last seasons… despite the short delay we are ready to officially announce the names of the finalist.6 of them will compete this year for the special fund offered by the Emergenza Festival to record, produce and support the first professional CD of the most interesting unsigned bands. The members of the foundation will carefully examine the material provided by the bands (demos and press kits), and then will cast their vote. Here is the list of the finalists: AGROOVEMENT, heavy funk-pop from Hamburg (Germany), semifinalists in 2003 and 2005 (… for now!) LEXXI, melodic rock from Glasgow (Scotland), 2nd place at the International Final in 2004 NO RADICAL CHANGE, metal core from Florence (Italy), 3rd place at the International Final in 2003 SHAMEROCK, Indie rock from Valencia (Spain), semifinalists in 2004 and 2005 (… for now!) SIKA, electronic - new metal from Copenhagen (Denmark), finalists in 2004 and semifinalists (for now!) in 2005. THE NAIVES, rock from Madrid (Spain), participating in 2005.
